هر اندازه سطح قطعه کار دارای سطحی مسطح و صیقلی باشد قابلیت اتصال و لیفتینگ با مگنت صنعتی بار نیز افزایش می یابد. بر عکس با منحنی شدن سطح بر حسب زاویه انها به تدریج قابلیت و جاذبه اتصال سطح فولادی یا آهنی به مگنت بار نیز کمتر شده و در مواردی به کمتر از 30% کل قابلیت لیفتینگ کاهش پیدا می کند.

علاوه بر انحنای سطح قطعه ضخامت سطح قطعه کار نیر بر قابلیت اتصال و لیفتینگ با مگنت صنعتی بار تاثیر به سزایی داشته با افزایش ضخامت این قابلیت افزایش پیدا می کند.

طبیعتا قابلیت لیفتینگ قطعه کار که به شکل ورق های فولادی با ضخامت اندک هستند بسیار کم است. ایده آل ترین سطوح برای لیفتینگ با مگنت بار صنعتی سطوحی تخت از آهن یا فولاد با ضخامت بالا هستند که هر قدر سطح قطعه کار صیقلی تر و تمیز تر باشد قابلیت اتصال نیز بالا می رود.

 
عوامل تاثیر گذاردر لیفتینگ مگنت

هر چند مگنت صنعتی نیز مانند دیگر ادوات لیفتینگ دارای یک ظرفیت اسمی یا Nominal capacity در میزان تناژ وزنی بارگیری است اما بر خلاف دیگر ادوات لیفتینگ این قابلیت با عوض شدن یک سری معادلات دستخوش تغییرات شدیدی می شود.

قابلیت مگنت شو فلز که به بیان دیگر عکس العمل ترکیب آلیاژی فلز در برابر میدان مغناطیسی است از دیگر عوامل بسیار تاثیر گذار در عملکرد مگنت صنعتی محسوب می شود. فلزاتی مانند آهن با بالاترین میزان مگنت شو فلزاتی مانند تیتانیوم با حداقل میزان مگنت شوندگی روبرو هستند.

ضخامت قطعه فلزی از دیگر فاکتور ها بوده و با افزایش ضخامت توانایی مگنت صنعتی بار نیز در لیفتینگ افزایش می یابد.
